It is the basic rule of water treatment and the one most often forgotten: a pH increaser does not work if alkalinity is low. In large facilities, skipping this step means wasted bags of pH corrector, uncomfortable swimmers, and water that never fully stabilizes.

Values, doses, and performance
The optimal Total Alkalinity (TAC) for bath water is between 100 and 150 ppm. The dose is 180 g (6 level scoops) per 10 m³ to raise 10 ppm, and in spas 18 g (½ scoop) per m³. With 20 kg, these are some performance references:

Perform a preliminary analysis of Total Alkalinity and the rest of the parameters.

180 g for every 10 m³ and every 10 ppm. For large increases, divide the dose over several days.

Dissolve in batches
Dissolve the product in containers with about 10 liters of water each.
